Alloy steel A633 Grade D carbon-manganese-silicon steel 50mm thick plate

High strength, plasticity, toughness, cold bending performance, welding performance and corrosion resistance are required for shipbuilding steel plates. Boiler steel plates are used to manufacture various boilers and important accessories. As the boiler steel plate works under medium temperature (below 350℃) and high pressure, it is also subject to impact, fatigue load and water and gas corrosion. The A633 Grade D carbon-manganese-silicon steel, boiler steel plate is required to ensure a certain strength and have good welding and cold bending properties.

As to the Chemical composition, the different content is a main on carbon content, while the carbon content of A633 Grade D carbon-manganese-silicon steel, A283Gr. D is no more than 0.27% and it is higher than Grade C (≤0.24%) ; as to the mechanical property, the differences are tensile strength and yield strength, while the tensile strength of ASTM A283 Gr.D is 415-550MPa (60-80 ksi) and yield strength of ASTM A283 Grade D is 230MPa (33 ksi).
