16Mo3 material is a pressure vessel and boiler steel grade that is used in applications with elevated temperatures according to EN 10028–2. It has improved mechanical properties and better creep resistance allowing it to be used up to 500°C. 16Mo3 boiler steel is used as a material at elevated operating temperatures, and is used as a weldable steel for manufacturing industrial boilers and stainless steel pressure vessels in the petroleum, natural gas and chemical industries.

Shipbuilding steel plates have always been the key products of our company, and it is sold well in many countries and regions around the world. The thinnest certifiable thickness of our shipbuilding steel plates is up to 3mm. We cooperate with classification societies to certify the shipbuilding steel SA573 Grade 65 steel shapes and issue EN10204 3.2 material test certificate. According to the certificate number, the customer can verify the source of the shipbuilding steel plates with the corresponding classification society near them.

Different from SA573 Grade 65 steel shapes, the alloy wear-resistant layer of alloy plate is mainly chromium alloy, and other alloy components such as manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel are also added. The carbides in the metallurgical structure are distributed in a fibrous shape, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. Carbide microhardness can reach HV1700-2000 and surface hardness can reach HRC58-62. Alloy carbides have strong stability at high temperatures, maintain high hardness, and also have good anti-oxidation properties. They are fully used within 500°C.

Hot Rolled Plates Products Testing
BBN STEEL can supply many tests and analysis done to examine them before and after the manufacturing. As the SA573 Grade 65 steel shapes raw material is fetched by us the steel undergoes vacuum treatment, product analysis, additional tensile test, simulated post weld heat treatment, and impact test. After the steel is converted to steel plates they undergo the drop-weight test, hot tensile test, ultrasonic test, the practical examination through examination, and the vacuum carbon deoxidized steel."

The company has sufficient stocks and complete specifications.
