The A573 Grade 65 steel density plate products have passed the EU CE certification, and have been recognized by China, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and other eight classification societies for high-strength ship plates. The steel strand products have passed the United States (PTI) certification. The A573 Grade 65 steel density products enjoy a high reputation in the domestic and foreign markets. The products are applied to national key projects and sold to 37 countries and regions such as EU, Middle East, Southeast Asia and America.

These A573 Grade 65 steel density products have numerous features like high performance and strength and possess properties that help with welding, fabrication and formability. These steel plates are available from stock; however, all S 460N steel plates can be cut into different shapes, sizes and thickness according to our customer needs. BBNsteel has experience in manufacturing this grade of steel plates which is done according to EN10025-3 standards.

A573 Grade 65 steel density, low alloy high strength steel has good atmospheric corrosion resistance and is widely used in engineering structure construction. Most of the engineering structures are used in the atmosphere or marine environment. A small amount of Cu, Ni, Cr, P and other elements are added to the low alloy high strength steel, which effectively improves the corrosion resistance of the engineering structure in the atmosphere, sea water and soil. If 0.2% - 0.5% copper, 0.05% - 0.1% phosphorus and aluminum are added, the corrosion resistance of steel can be improved obviously, and the effect of adding copper and phosphorus at the same time is the best.

Compared with the common pressure vessel, the pressure parts of the boiler not only bear the pressure, but also suffer from the radiation and erosion of the high temperature flue gas. Once the pressure components of the boiler fail in operation, it will cause extremely serious consequences. Therefore, the A573 Grade 65 steel density, steel materials used to manufacture the pressure components of the boiler must have enough high strength, plasticity, toughness, fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as good high-temperature mechanical properties for high-temperature components.

Composition of low alloy steel plate: Low carbon: due to the high requirements for toughness, weldability and cold formability of low alloy steel plate, the carbon content is not more than 0.20%; manganese is added; the auxiliary elements such as niobium, titanium or vanadium are added; a small amount of niobium, titanium or vanadium forms fine carbide or carbonitride in the steel, which is conducive to obtaining fine ferrite grains and improving the strength and toughness of low alloy steel plate; in addition, The corrosion resistance of A573 Grade 65 steel density, low alloy steel plate can be improved by adding a small amount of copper (< 0.4%) and phosphorus (about 0.1%).
