We have new significant ASTM A573 Grade 70(A573 Gr 70) steel projects in Nigeria. It is about crude oil storage tanks. With the development of our steel materials business in the Africa those years, Nigeria has been an important market to us. This crude oil storage tanks project is a very big engineering, and lasts for years. This is the only initial stage. SA387Gr5Cl2 steel material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation and conversion equipment at high temperature. The maximum thickness of ASTM A573 Grade 70(A573 Gr 70) steel, SA387Gr5Cl2 steel plate can reach 250mm. According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of SA387Gr5Cl2 steel plate is normalizing plus tempering or normalizing plus rapid cooling plus tempering. By using special smelting method, the content of phosphorus is reduced so that sa387 has high brittleness resistance and good impact toughness at low temperature.

In December of 2015, our regular India customer sent us an inquiry for ASTM A573 Grade 70(A573 Gr 70) steel pipe. The inquiry requires no negative tolerance in both pipes’ outer diameter and pipe wall. After two weeks’ discussion, he put the order of 275 tons to us. The pipes are finished within just one month. Our customer come to our factory to inspect the quality and tolerance, all the products are well meet his demand. The pipes are arriving to Nhava Sheva port, customer is very happy with our products and service during the process.
