A299GrA steel plate is one of the materials widely used in boiler drums (steam drums) of coal-fired generator sets. Boiler plate astm 633c is mainly used in the head and shell of subcritical boiler drum products. Because of the vertical distribution of carbides in the wear direction, the wear resistance of the cast alloy with the same composition and astm 633c hardness is more than twice as that of the cast alloy with the same composition and hardness. Compared with several typical materials, the wear resistance is as follows: (1) compared with low carbon steel; 20-25:1 (2) with as cast high chromium cast iron; 1.5-2.5:1.

In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size. In the roughing stage, a large amount of reduction (reduction per pass) is adopted to reduce the number of passes and improve the output; after roughing, the finishing stage is entered, and the finishing is carried out with a small amount of reduction to achieve a good surface and accurate astm 633c size.
