50Mn2 seamless steel pipe is a kind of high-strength medium-carbon quenched and tempered manganese steel. It has high strength, elasticity and wear resistance. At the same time, SA573 Gr.58 mild steel high strength product has high hardenability. The critical hardenable diameter in oil is 10-28mm. The critical hardening diameter is 24～49mm, and the machinability is fair.

Generally speaking, the higher the strength of SA573 Gr.58 mild steel high strength, weathering steel, the greater the hardness, while the plasticity and toughness will decrease. When the carbon content of weathering steel exceeds 1.2%, the hardness will increase, but the strength will not increase, but will decrease. Resilience will also decline quickly. When the carbon content is high, the cementite increases and forms network distribution, which weakens the connection between grains and makes the mechanical properties of steel worse.
