The commonly ASTM A573 Grade 58(A573 Gr 58) supply steels used to manufacture pressure parts of boilers mainly include low carbon steel, low alloy structural steel, low alloy heat-resistant steel, austenitic stainless heat-resistant steel and martensitic heat-resistant steel, etc. According to profiles, these boiler steels can be divided into boiler steel plates and boiler steel pipes. Our main ASTM A573 Grade 58(A573 Gr 58) supply boiler steel materials are as follows: A516 Gr 70, A537 class 1 , 16Mo3, Q345R, A204 grade B, A285C, ASTM A387, P355GH and so on.

After extrusion, the ASTM A573 Grade 58(A573 Gr 58) supply tube shall be removed for sizing. The sizing machine uses a cone-shaped bit to rotate into the steel embryo at high speed to drill holes to form steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the outer diameter length of the drill bit of the sizing machine. After sizing, the steel pipe will enter the cooling tower and be cooled by water spray. After cooling, the steel pipe will be straightened. After straightening, the steel pipe is sent to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) by the conveyor belt for internal flaw detection.

Preheating cutting: The most effective way to prevent steel plate cutting cracks is to preheat before cutting. Before flame cutting, the steel plate is usually preheated, and the preheating temperature mainly depends on the quality level and thickness of the steel plate. The preheating method can be carried out with flame burner, electronic heating pad, or heating furnace. In order to determine the preheating effect of the steel plate, the required temperature should be tested at the heating point.
