The difference between alloy steel plate and carbon steel has the following points. First, the hardenability of carbon steel is low, and the maximum diameter of water quenching of carbon steel is only 10 mm to 20 mm; second, the strength of carbon steel is only 235 MPa, while that of alloy steel is more than 360 MPa. Third, carbon steel has poor tempering stability. In order to ensure high strength, low tempering is used for carbon steel during quenching and tempering treatment, so the toughness of the carbon steel is insufficient. Fourth, the corrosion resistance, low heat resistance, and wear resistance of carbon steel cannot be compared with alloy steel, sa573 grade 58 carbon steel iron plate.
As a new type of coil material, compared with the traditional steel coil, sa573 grade 58 carbon steel iron plate, the alloy steel coil and sheet has a great improvement in performance properties. The alloy steel coil and sheet has good thermal strength and oxidation resistance at high temperature. Moreover, the corrosion resistance of alloy steel coil and sheet is better. After long-term corrosion, the service life of traditional coil plate will decrease rapidly, but the new type coil, the alloy steel coil and sheet has strong corrosion resistance, and its service life is far longer than that of traditional coil plate.
In year 2015, we ship 750 tons H beam to Pakistan for our old customer for building use. Because of urgent demand, the H beams are partial shipment by bulk vessel. Due to strong support of our customer, we also export many C channel steel, sa573 grade 58 carbon steel iron plate I beam and other profile steel to local market.
