Q345 is a grade of carbon structural steel. Q is the meaning of yield strength, which density of A573 Grade 70(A573 Gr 70) is taken from the initial of Chinese Pinyin of "Qu"; 345 is the value of yield point, in MPa. Q345 refers to carbon structural steel with yield point (σ s) of 345mpa. The following letters indicate the quality level, including A, B, C, D and E. Q345 steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties, low temperature performance, good plasticity and weldability. Q345 steel is usually in hot rolling or normalizing state.
