Why is the price of S275J0 toughness high even with high yield low demand

Most common S275J0 toughness steel plates are rolled by hot rolling or controlled rolling. Compared with the general hot rolling process, the advantages of controlled rolling are: the strength and low temperature toughness of steel plates are greatly improved by controlled rolling to refine grains. In addition, the controlled rolling process can give full play to the role of Microalloying Elements Nb, V and Ti, not only play a role of precipitation strengthening, but also refine the grains, and improve the toughness of the rolled S275J0 toughness steel plates.

In 2013, one of our clients in Korea purchased 890 tons Q345B square tube from us for one building construction project. Our clients required no burr in the side of the tube, we finally produce the goods with great condition and +/-0.25mm tolerance for wall thickness, which is a very great tolerance with customers’ required size. Our square tube full available range is 2-16mm for wall thickness, and 40-500mm for width. In addition, our Q/C department will seriously control all of the process of every order.
