GJB/1496A-2000 this standard uses and manufactures 28Cr2Mo steel plates with thicknesses of 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30mm for armored vehicles, and 26SiMnMo steel plates with thicknesses of 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20mm and thicknesses. 28Cr2Mo is armored bullet-proof steel, code-named GY4. It is the main protective device on the tank. It needs to have high elasticity resistance.
