The new A573Gr.65 plate export officers are elected for a one-year period: Chairman - YU Yong, Chairman, HBIS Group Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman - Sajjan JINDAL, Chairman and Managing Director, JSW Steel Limited.

In January, 2019, our South Africa customer purchased 669 tons S235J2+N carbon steel plates to use in their tank fabrication project . S235J2 steel, as a non-alloy structural steel grade, is mainly used in structural projects and tanks. J2 symbol -20 temperature impact test. The client required CEV 0.38%, S≤0.01%, 100% UT, Charpy V-notch impact test at-20℃, Z25 for S235J2+N plates. After they receiving the S235J2+N steel plates, the customer are very satisfied with the quality of this batch of A573Gr.65 plate export products.

A573Gr.65 plate export, low alloy high strength steel has good weldability. Welding is the most common method to construct engineering structure, so the steel used in engineering structure requires good welding performance. Low alloy high strength steel has low carbon content, low alloy element content and good plasticity, so it is not easy to produce quenching structure and crack in the weld area, and the addition of Ti, Nb, V can also inhibit the grain growth in the weld area. Therefore, most of the low alloy high strength steels have excellent welding performance and no heat treatment is required after welding.
