The carbon (C) content of No.45 seamless pipe is 0.42 ~ 0.50%, Si content is 0.17 ~ 0.37%, Mn content is 0.50 ~ 0.80%, Cr content is ≤ 0.25%, Ni content is ≤ 0.30%, Cu content is ≤ 0.25%. The tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, reduction of area and impact energy of No.45 seamless pipe are 600 MPa, 355 MPa, 16% and 40% respectively. No.45 seamless pipe is used to manufacture high strength moving parts.

The boiler steel is not only required to have good corrosion resistance at low temperature, but also required to have good oxidation resistance at high temperature for components working at high temperature.
